What's better than a warm loaf of fresh artisan bread to enhance leftovers for lunch and dinner. We picked up a loaf of the seeded sourdough bread this morning. I get several breads here when something special is needed. Their cinnamon challah ( baked only on Friday along with a standard challah ) makes the best French toast ever. I order my loaves by phone in the morning because so many sell out early. They reserve until it can be picked up. The Market has so many provisions to go with the really local and fresh meats. And the lunches are wonderful too. And a bonus for Boulder, ample free parking. It's worth the ride east of town.

We went back for round two and I can't say enough about how good the service is. We ended up at the chef's counter again and it's a fun experience I'd recommend for first-time diners. The burger is really good, but I would get one of other items on a first trip just because there are so many good options.

This is a Michelin casual dining experience and the price is $$$ at the very least but it's worth it. One of the best steak tartare I had in a while. The entree steak was cooked to perfection. Service was amazing. Must have a reservation if coming for dinner on any day.

Let's start with the staff..from the kind, wonderful hostess...to the wait staff and bartenders...top!!!! The atmosphere is warm and inviting and the food...the last two times...a gentleman at the bar went over all his favorites (there were many)...so good!!! The chicken dish is my fav..I will get every week..I heard I missed out on the octopus....

This was a picture of our bartender who literally is the best. She took a picture of us (and herself) which cracked me up. We love blackbelly as one of our absolute go to favorite restaurants in boulder. Went this week and sat at the bar and had the best time. Will be back many times. Standouts are the Babette steak, the burger, bread(yes it's so good), toffee cake and carrot cake.

Food was good and the quality was extremely high! The servings are also massive so you get what you pay for. Pozole was not what I expected but might be someone else's taste as I was expecting more traditional. Would come again if in Boulder!

Blackbelly never misses for me. I've been a patron since 2016 when I worked down the street and while the prices have steadily increased - I'm more than happy to pay what are fair prices for high quality food. My beloved OG breakfast burrito is $8 but every bite makes me giddy. I'm not exaggerating. It's my all time favourite breakfast burrito! Not to mention my dog loves the pig ears they sell for $2.50. Service is always friendly, too. The space was remodeled and reconfigured to have plenty of seating including an outdoor patio (no pets) so if it's been a while since you've visited I recommend you check it out.

Came here for my husband's birthday and we loved everything. The best surprise was seeing a custom menu with a birthday message based on the information I put when I made the reservation! Definitely was a nice touch. We could not decide what to order and definitely asked for some suggestions. The main thing everyone suggested we try were the pig ears. We were feeling adventurous so we ordered them and they were so good! Would definitely recommend. For dinner I ordered the lamb, my husband ordered the Delmonico steak, and we shared a side of broccoli. Everything was excellent and we had a great time sitting at the chef's counter watching all the action.

We arrived around noon on Thursday. Almost every seat was filled inside. Tried the lunch special sandwich and it was so good. Tasted very fresh and balanced. We also had the Italian sandwich and grain bowl with sweet potato falafel. The Italian sandwich was apparently pretty good not mind blowing. The grain bowl was good as well. The sweet potato falafel was actually better than I imagined it and I think adding sweet potato makes it less dry compared to a normal falafel. Super busy but service went by quickly. Would definitely go back and try dinner.

No idea how I haven't reviewed Blackbelly yet. 100% one of my favorite spots in Boulder: - The butcher & market: IDK where else I can buy beef bacon, and Blackbelly always has my back. Their beef bacon is so so so good. I love to use the fat from cooking it to cook other things like eggs or other meats. It's a must! Their beef jerky has also recently been a staple at home--very flavorful. - A great lunch: Whether it's a simple grilled cheese and tomato soup, or a burger, their lunch is great. I love sitting on their patio and enjoying a tasty lunch there - The best dinner: I love going here for date nights and while friends are visiting. Their beef cuts and their lamb are so so good. I love their burrata, broccoli, and fries. But I think the service is what really sets them apart. The entire staff is so friendly and excited for you to be there. Sit at the Chefs counter if you can! Chef Gage --you are doing some amazing things!
